Pepper Powder

I LOVE peppers, I love HOT and I LOOOVVVEEEE Spicy!!!! This is one of my fave go-to's, most of my friends have gotten it as gifts and I cry when I get close to running out and start to ration it!

Behold the spiciest shit you'll ever make! So grab the following and lets get pulverizing!

Supplies:

  1. Peppers...oh baby!

  1. Dehydrator

  1. Pulverizer ( I use a coffee grinder ONLY for peppers! I have several...)

  1. Mask or respirator-seriously don't get all macho on me, TRUST ME!

  1. Cutting board and knife

  2. Gloves. Again, I learned this the hard way. My fingers and under my nails burned for a flipping week and a half AFTER I got feeling back in my fingertips.

  3. Salt shakers.

Simple Instructions:

  • Wash your peppers to get all those little critters off of them! If you buy yours definitely wash them to get the wax, bacteria, germs and all the other shit they get on them from the store. I use a white vinegar and water solution for mine.

  • Cut your peppers. I keep the seeds in mine.

  • Place in the dehydrater

  • Dehydrate them...

  • When they are good and crinkly pull them out. I save the seeds and scoop them into another container. I also take some of the peppers and just crumble them up and keep the flakes for pizzas and stuff.

DON YOUR MASK/RESPIRATOR, OPEN THE WINDOWS AND SEND ANY LIVING BEING YOU LOVE OUT OF THE HOUSE. In all seriousness I learned this the hard way. About my second grinder full my nose started gushing blood from the fine pepper particles finding their way into my nose. My throat & eyes swelled up and I was horse for a week or so. Mask and gloves people.

  • Put in the grinder and grind away while you're enjoying the humidity coming in through the windows and you're breathing but feel like your suffocating. I dump mine into a bag and when the bag is full fill my salt shakers. I also drop a few pieces of rice inside the shaker and use aluminum foil under the cap so it doesn't spill.

  • Once it's all filled up your ready to clean everything up & enjoy! Please make sure to wear the mask until you're sure all the particles are gone and keep the gloves on until you're done cleaning. Now as everyone who's ever tried my pepper powder has found out...use it SPARINGLY!!!

Lemme know if you try it or if you don't feel brave enough bring me all your peppers and I'll make it (my fee will be some peppers!)
